Hammond Golf Trip

Oak Knoll is a semi-private golf course located in Hammond Louisiana, this course design is good from amateur to seasoned golfers. With some holes featuring water, sand bunkers, narrow, and sometimes wide fairways. With the course located right by the regional airport there is surprisingly little to no distractions coming from planes. With golf growing as a sport Oak Knoll is one of the better golf courses that I have been too, the staff is friendly and the price is very affordable to golf on a budget, with twilight hours starting at 2PM. With work being done around the park the holes are still in very good condition. There is a choice between using a golf cart or walking the course, I like to use the golf cart mainly because I golf with a bunch of my friends and it makes the whole process easier. However due to conditions sometimes the golf carts can only stay on the path, but other than that you can drive anywhere except for close to the tee box and the green. Before each hole there are signs and a scorecard given before each round of the distance from whichever tee box that you choose, using an app called 18 Birdies has helped a lot for me to figure out which club I should use. You can also go to the driving range to test out your clubs. Golfing is fun, it can be with your friends or even by yourself, just try it out and book a Driving Range or Tee Time today!
